Jun 22 Abortion: The Ultimate Father’s Day Gift

The title makes you feel a way, doesn’t it?
It should.
Now think about how you feel.
Are you laughing? Why is it funny to you?
Are you guilty? Why do you feel that way?
Did you not even want to read it once you saw the title?
Are any memories coming back yo you? The ghosts of children past?

Sensitive topic, I know.

I was thinking about Father’s day (mad late) nevertheless thinking about it then I thought…damn abortion is like the ultimate father’s day gift to some people.
It’s for motherf*ckers who aren’t ready to be fathers, let alone dads, just yet…but they like practicing for it.

I am writing this, pointing fingers at everyone (which includes myself).
I retired from the “numbers game,” and a while ago made up my mind that I wasn’t going to open the legs of any woman who I couldn’t at least see having to open them wider 9 months later for. #seewhatididthere
I think about many of my friends who are now proud fathers, and I tip my hat to them, for stepping up to the plate.
They also remind me of what to do with my own hat, because I’m just not ready yet.
Oh yes, I’m going to enjoy having children, when I’m ready to have them, just like they enjoy their fatherhood.

God willing.

Until that time comes, I like my lifestyle. It’s safe(r).
I think about some of my friends who are NOT fathers, who could have been but opted out.
I’m telling you between a group of folks I know, we could have a hockey team…but no1 will ever see those kids play. Well we’d never see that many black kids playing hockey anyway.

Good or bad, it just is what it is.

I am writing this from the perspective of someone whose seen been through, and helped folks through some interesting “smishmorshmen” abortion scenarios:
I’ve seen the regular couple slip-ups
-I’ve seen the dude cheat on his girl and get a 1nighter or jump preg
-I’ve seen the girl cheat on the dude and try to still say it’s his
-I’ve had a homegirl who was messing with one of my boys get pregnant, and I had to help her through the abortion process because she felt he’d be too immature to deal with the situation. He still doesn’t know to this day. That happened to me twice. (no the kids weren’t mine either).

I’m saying this all to say that no one is perfect and everyone makes mistakes, but I just want folks to think.

A nut just isn’t worth it sometimes…and you ladies it’s even worse because sometimes yall don’t even get that!
Next time you get ready to lay down with someone and you’re iffy about it or them, just don’t do it.
Do you really see yourself having to deal with this person on a daily basis? How sure are you about the strength of that condom? Are you sure she’s on the pill? When she says “i don’t usually do this,” does she look you in the eye? Ladies, sometimes you’ve got to be the stronger gender. Bring the condom if you know it’s going down…just tumble through your bag and act like you’re not sure it’s there even though you know it is.
If he calls you a slut later he was going to call you one anyway. At least you’ll be known as a safe one.
Sticks and stones, right? We’re all grown here.
Strap up and get off, or don’t get off at all.
