Viral sensation Azealia Banks has announced that she’s finally inked a record deal.  “I am now officially signed to Universal Music,” she tweeted earlier today.  “[Maybe I will put out an] album in May, or June possibly?”

Azealia is best known for the video to her song “212”, which has almost hit 2.5 million views on YouTube.

We always see one side of the celebrity, but in reality there is so much more — just ask Melyssa Ford. She has flown to Haiti this weekend with We Advance, a charity group that aims to advance the health, safety, and well-being of women throughout the earthquake-ravaged country.
She has also partnered with B Condoms to supply over two thousand condoms for this trip. She is also the spokesperson for the socially responsible condom company.

This trip comes a few weeks after Melyssa helped prepare and cook Thanksgiving meals for the less fortunate at Caldwell Temple Soup Kitchen in the Bronx, New York.

This Is The Dream applauds Melyssa for her valiant efforts in changing the world, one step at a time.

I think that this quote captures the essence of Patrice O’Neal.

Comedian Patrice O’Neal died Monday night … after suffering a stroke back in October … this according to his friends at the “Opie and Anthony“ radio show. O’Neal had been a staple in the comedy world for years — and performed at the “Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen” back in September. O’Neal was a regular guest on the “Opie and Anthony” radio show and appeared on several TV shows such as “Chappelle Show,” “The Office,” and “Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn.” O’ Neal was 41.  (TMZ)
