Spike Lee put together a two minute clip featuring the new, New York Knick Carmelo Anthony. He speaks on coming home, and the same topics he talks about with everyone (ie: The View), but Spike adds some fine camera-work in there to make it hot. Parts 2 & 3 below.

Hands down next to Kobe Bryant he is the best & purest scorer of the league.  Feb 24th is the deadline and his addition to the New York Knickerbockers would completely change the team.  As a native New Yorker and #Lakers fan if Carmelo Anthony goes to the New York Knicks, when they play anyone but L.A, I’ll be singin’ Go NY, Go NY, Go!

3) He’s nice.  He can create his own shot.  He dominates at his position night after night. He’s a good post player and he can hit from 15-20 feet out like water.  The Knicks need him #thatisall .  Amar’e Stoudemire has already helped the Knicks and changed the character of the team, but @Amareisreal takes too many jump shots so Melo’s addition with his skills of getting to the hole would even things out because he can drive to the basket.

2) He’s virtually un-guardable at his position.  When teams match players up with him they try to put someone to guard him that is his size, and hes able to blow by them.  With his handle, he creates distance; he pulls the big dude away from the basket gets 15-20 feet out, creates space and knocks down the shot.  Once again like water.  When the team tries switch their scheme and put a smaller dude at that position he takes them right down to the block.

1) If you want 25-30 a night Melo’s your man, period.  He needs to put a little more effort out on defence, which he has been working on, and with that hustle his game is unstoppable.
